Size, Materials, and Information

Size: one size/medium/women - or the size YOU want. Instructions for how to adapt the pattern included.

Measurements: Circumference: about 56cm / 22”. Height: about 27cm / 10.6”.

Yarn: 100 grams (2 skeins) of Air from Drops Design or Kos from Sandnes Garn (Length/weight: 150m (164yds) /50gr (1,8 oz)), or other worsted weight/10 ply yarn types. If you use the suggested yarn types and hit gauge, you will need almost all the yarn (there will be very little yarn left over).

Kos and Air are blown yarn and build well. If you use such yarn types, you get a thick, chunky cowl, like the one in the picture above. If you want a thinner cowl, you can use thinner yarn. Instructions for how to adapt the pattern so that you can use other yarn types are included in the pattern. If you adapt the pattern and use other yarn types, you might need more yarn. Feel free to use yarn from your stash!

Hook: 3.5mm. Use a hook significantly smaller than what you would normally use for your yarn. This is to make sure the flower centers remain small.

You also need:
Scissors, a stitch marker, tape measure, and a yarn needle.
